minus 4

In what Greg is referring to as "a freak tickling
accident" we are now minus 4 teeth.
The tooth fairy has been quite busy lately.
Sadly, the top two were knock outs.
Those top two really took a beating in their
6 year stint in Ruby's little mouth.
I am wishing the next set better luck.
I think it may be awhile before we see them.

Ruby's lice drawing

Ruby's whole class had a talk about lice today.
They all drew pictures of how you get it and what
they look like. This was Ruby's.
They were all really excellent.
Too funny!

new jams

I made these for Ruby as a Christmas gift
but upon completion decided that they
are way too cozy to keep in a box for
2 months. She loves them so much.
This is a Simplicity 3552.
The flannel fabric was 2.99 a yard on sale at Joanne's.
That made the total cost 9 bucks!
