Ruby's first full-length book

This week she completed reading this book on her own. All 433 pages of it, the last 60 all in one sitting. To commemorate I let them watch some of the movie.

Ruby is 8 today

Here she is about to build her own stuffed animals, at one of those stores. She made a tabby cat named Chester.

Ruby's class made sunflower name tags for their lockers. I think it would make a lovely print.

At Por Que No? Taqueria they have a lovely outdoor patio where Ruby and Wade can make chalk drawings, while Monica and I get a rare chance to chat.

Last weekend they made friends with a couple of kids and completed this mural.
