Newt Fever

 she has one in each hand

I never knew a newt...

not until this weekend anyway.

We just got back from a couple

of days at Lost Lake.

Ruby was obsessed with catching newts.

Wade was obsessed with holding them.

They both declared the newts the

best part of the trip.

For me it was the canoe rides-

more on that to come.

Don't worry no newts were harmed.

My very grown up children set them free

before we departed.

I have this friend...

She came over the other day with her two super cute littles

and her camera. Oh the things that this lady can do with her

camera. She is one talented mama. And I am quite lucky to

know her.

And I really enjoyed sharing my shoes with her eldest.

Our hotel room in Toledo commanded this view of the Maumee River. We got to see some pretty cool shipping activity, which Wade enjoyed.

Picachu in Denver

Ruby and Wade got free Picachu toys from a nice lady at McDonalds at the Denver airport. Then Picachu got to ride on the handrail of the moving walkway. Next stop, Detroit!
