Kitty love

snow mobile

Since there was no snow in the forecast today
Greg biked in as usual.
It took him a real long time to get home but
not as long as if he had been stuck in
all the snow traffic.

I got my wish...

SNOW!!
It wasn't supposed to snow today but it did!
I pulled the kids over to the park on the sled
for some hill fun.
Wade loves the snow and sledding!
All week I have been begging them
to go outside because it has
been really sunny. They always
say no. The moment there is snow on
the ground they want out and to never
come back in.

Ruby spent most of her time building a snowman.

Wade also makes this face when he is trying
to do the back float in swim class.
We had a so much fun at the park, then
we came back and had a snow ball fight
with our neighbors.

Introducing....our newest member of the family

Holly is 8 weeks old and Santa brought him
last night. He is soooo tiny and really happy and
crazy cute.
Ruby said "Are you kidding me? Santa brought
me a kitty? I must have been really good!"

Merry Christmas!

Santa

The kids decided that we needed to see Santa today.
They had some stuff they needed to tell him and give

to him. We waited in line for 45 minutes at the mall.
They were both amazing.
They both picked out their outfits for this photo op.
They started early this morning figuring it out.
You can't tell but Wade has on green sweatpants. I
tried to get him to wear nicer ones but he insisted
that "Santa really likes green".
Ruby also decided that her dress
looks much better on backwards :)

Chanukah 2009

Hope everyone had a nice Chanukah.
I know that we sure did.
The kids LOVED it so much this year.
We did one tiny present each night-marbles,
pez,gelt,special cookies.
They especially loved the candle lighting and
the songs. The last night we let them open
their gifts from Grandma and Papa Weinger.
Thanks for the nice presents Alice and Jesse!

Wade keeps asking "Mama when can we have
Chanukah again?"

teacher gifts

Ruby hand sewed this little kitty for
her teacher. Her teacher LOVES cats.
I put the eyes on for her and
plan on throwing a little coffee
gift card in with it.

I borrowed this lovely pattern (Butterick BP219) from a friend of
mine and made up this apron for Wade's teacher.

Now, I must tackle the family gifts!
