I check on the kids every night before I go to bed.
This is how I found Wade last night.
He has been so fascinated with this sleep mask lately.
How did he know the correct way to use it?

Mickey Mouse Pancakes

We are at Bread & Ink Cafe where Uncle Kenny's artwork is on the
wall. They have the most delicious Belgian waffles. Ruby here is
pleased with the pancake presentation.

For Grandpa Dan

I can remember doing this same thing with
my dad when I was a kid.

All of the kids on our block helped us
build our new raised beds for our garden.
They loved pounding nails!
Our garden in in! We are looking forward to
tending it this summer.
We have:
kale
squash
tomato
onion
baby greens
romaine
sweet peas
broccoli
parsley
basil
collard greens

Me and My Worm

Ruby and Wade are really into worms right now.
Maybe it is all the gardening that has been going on lately.
Wade found this one today and here is Ruby taking
it for a little ride on her bike. Lucky worm.

Ruby's list of things we need to do today:

1. Find wildflowers and press them in a book.

2. Go to a cafe.
3. Go to the zoo again (we went yesterday).
4.Go to the park.
5. Go to the pet store.
6. Be spies looking for bugs.
7. Go to the places where there are ducks.
8. Go swimming.
9. Play hide and seek.
10. Eat s'mores.
